Dada la imposibilidad de recopilar una colección de 10CC que satisfaga la demanda del publico en general, 'The Very Best of 10CC' se presenta como la selección mas fascinante y acertada, pues no solo aparecen hits de su etapa como 10CC, sino que tambien aparecen temas de su etapa como Hotlegs y algun tema en solitario de Kevin Godley y Lol Creme. El resultado final, es mas que aceptable. El problema principal es que entre los temas de Hotlegs y los de 10CC o los de los miembros en solitario hay un abismo y esto hace que el registro pierda cierta coherencia esencial para un grandes exitos.
