'White Winds', subtitulada 'Seeker's Journey', cuenta con la tipica arpa eléctrica modificada del compositor en piezas que son mucho más experimentales. Una breve introducción cuenta con el chapoteo de un barco, pero pronto se desvanece en las incursiones angulares de 'Hall of the Stairs', que a su vez deriva en la etno-jazzy más convencional de 'Hall of the Mosaics (Meeting You)'. El arpa de Vollenweider se une a una plena percusión y sintetizadores para 'The Glass Hall (Choose the Crystal)'. Incluso cuando accede a los tonos suaves de la New Age, 'White Winds' parece estar más cerca del instrumentalismo jazz contemporáneo que de la propia New Age. Vollenweider incluso llega casi al funky en 'Flight Feet & Root Hands'.
