A pesar de que a Iron Maiden se la conoce en los EE.UU. como una banda de album-oriented rock, en su Inglaterra natal, la banda acumuló muchos hits en forma de singles, la mayoría de los cuales se ofrecen en esta colección, 'The Best of the Beast'.
