'Smashes, Thrashes & Hits' es una recopilación de los grandes éxitos de Kiss en los 80. Tambien se incluyen algunos clasicos de los 70, como 'Love Gun', 'Shout It Out Loud' y 'Rock and Roll All Nite', pues en los 80 no había tantos éxitos como para completar un álbum.
