Es bastante irónico que Marilyn Manson, un artista que mantuvo la idea del álbum conceptual durante los años 90, tuviese su mayor impacto como artista con la compilación de 17 pistas 'Lest We Forget: The Best of Marilyn Manson'. "Tourniquet" es un canto de mal humor, el delirante "La Beautiful People", el glamouroso "The Dope Show", o "mOBSCENE". Hay omisiones dificilmente justificales, "I Don't Like the Drugs (But the Drugs Like Me)' y "Rock Is Dead". Estas omisiones son curiosas, pero hay suficientes éxitos que valen la pena.
