DESCRIPCION
Uno pensaría que un álbum de versiones como este 'Acid Eaters', de una banda que, en un momento dado, siempre había sido tan alegre, sentimental y unificada, podría ser el tónico para revitalizar la banda. Pero no, no lo fue. En todo caso, fue la aplastante indignidad lo que los enterró. Lo peor, en orden, son la voz de Joey, que suena sin aliento, la llamativa batería de Marky que rompe con el fundamental ritmo que la banda retuvo firmemente, y Johnny que, con la excepción del excelente 'Have you Ever Seen The Rain' y quizás 'Journey to The Centre of Your Mind', parece ausente. La selección de canciones es sorprendente, y equivocada. '7 and 7 is', 'Out of Time' y 'Can't Seem To Make You Mine' son probablemente lo peor que han grabado. 'Acid Eaters' no recordara glorias pasadas ni trazara nuevas direcciones para el futuro. El final estaba cerca.
