Grabado el 22 de enero de 1967, en el Lincoln Center de Nueva York, cuatro de estas 19 canciones fueron incluidas en la caja 'Old Friend' de 1997, pero el resto no fue editado hasta este 'Live From New York City,1967' en 2002. El dúo realiza, acústicamente, sin acompañantes, un excelente trabajo en vivo. Ciertamente, tiene la mejor selección de canciones que podria haber tenido, ya que contiene todos los grandes éxitos que la pareja había registrado antes de 1967: "The Sound of Silence", "I Am a Rock", "Homeward Bound", "The 59th Street Bridge Song (Feelin' Groovy)", "Richard Cory", "A Hazy Shade of Winter", "The Dangling Conversation", "Anji" y "For Emily, Whenever I May Find Her". Los momentos más bajos se encuentran en las canciones menos célebres como "Leaves That Are Green", "Benedictus" y "He Was My Brother".
