'When You're Strange' es la banda sonora del documental de Tom DiCillo sobre Doors, donde muestra la pomposidad y la poesía del cuarteto angelino, intercalando entrevistas y recitaciones con grabaciones en directo, rarezas y algunos clásicos imperecederos. Aparte de las lecturas de Johnny Depp de las poesías de Jim Morrison, no hay nada inédito, pero como complemento sonoro de la película funciona bastante bien.
