'It Happened at the World's Fair' no es que sea particularmente malo, pero a partir de aquí las bandas sonoras de Presley empezaron a desmoronarse. 'Cotton Candy Land' suena estupida, y no digamos 'How Would You Like to Be'. El registro equilibra baladas con melodías pop y rock ligero. Es un disco en el que el propio Elvis tampoco está particularmente inspirado.
