Ritchie Blackmore resucitó a Rainbow para el álbum 'Stranger in Us All'. La nueva formación se denomino Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow. Es una manera de reconectarse con su base de fans. Blackmore recluta al vocalista Doogie White, al teclista Paul Morris, al bajista Greg Smith y al bateria John O'Reilly. 'Wolf to the Moon', 'Cold Hearted Woman' y 'Stand and Fight', son bastante decentes. Destacan 'Hunting Humans (Insatiable)' y 'Black Masquerade'. Hay una versión de Yardbirds, 'Still I'm Sad'. White es un vocalista de hard rock decente, pero no es tan distintivo como Dio o Turner.
